Getting tired of title like this, and holidays is almost over.....like another 4 days.
2 weeks ago, I went for a campfire in Penang. Yeah, after so many months, at last another scout activity.....
I guess the boredom of holidays magnified the expectation for this campfire. Like always, last minute packing and last second informing my parents about my leave. They never fail giving the same response:"Again? Need Money?"
Then I left. Meeting my scout friend and some of "senior scouts" from St.Paul.(Senior Scouts are aged 16-18, wuakkaa). Then some crap, and we arrived at Butterworth, Penang.
That sound fast huh....ok fine.... There are something in between. We had a chinese bus driver, who had problem finding his way to Klang. Ya, Klang, to fetch some guides from Kwang Hua Sec School. I had not been joining activities with juniors for quite some time. Hence, I found it hard joining them for conversation or making new friends. Plus, I didn't sleep the night before(to pack my stuff). So I slept the half of the journey and dream talking the other half. So I'm still very well-behaved. So.....Don't ask me if I had known any girls.
Normal stuff for a camping, but I'm not the one doing all those thing, the "seniors" did. Haha. The only thing I had been doing was fooling around, watching people doing works and enjoying people getting punished. There was one thing I really won't understand. Scouting supposed to be fun, but why on earth would they make it into a military boot camp? There were scouts from some school who won the "Best Disipline". For a single silly mistake they did, they would receive punishment from their so called troop leader. Just a small tips for you, Mr. Troop Leader. I had been a Troop Leader, and I had been a Overall Male Trainee Leader in National Service. Nothing give a damn right for you to punish them like that. They were all abusing the rights as leaders. Try taking the chance to be a 24-hour Leader for 3 months and you will see. They were crushing the young, cute little fragile souls of those junior scouts. They never know they are making monster out of them. It's like a never ending cause and effect: The reason they punish the junior is because they were punished when they were the juniors. Let me give you all some examples of their so called disipline. They were giving 5 pushups as punishment for some crap. Then there were an unintentional comment from a innocent girl, saying "5 only?". And just for that, the juniors had to receive extra 10 pushups. What the "censored" was that? And one more, for every single time they met their "senior" they would have to :Baris! Baris Sedia! Good Morning Sir! What gave them the damn right to be called Sir? They were just some kids!!!
shit, I crapped too much. In conclusion, every is just fine............ and nice............ Nothing bothered me, really. Not about those "Sir" thing bothered me. Not about those "delicious" food bothered me. Not even about not getting any girl's number bothered me. (damn, that girl was cute......)
